Yasmeene Ball was born in Vancouver, BC, Canada (ancestry: English, Danish, Icelandic and German) Yasmeene expressed interest in arts and drama at an early age and decided to pursue acting when she was 8.5 years old. Her career started when she appeared in a number of commercials for notable brands, such as Lexus and Nintendo, as well as music videos and modeling. Yasmeene was recently cast as a recurring character in the CW hit tv series 'Supernatural', as well as a lead in the tv movie 'Under Fire', a supporting lead in the feature film 'Monkey Up' (starring Crystal the Monkey), and a lead role in the movie 'The Tree That Saved Christmas' (with Lacey Chabert) which was chosen by the New York Times as a Top 5 holiday movie. She also played a key role in the season finale of ABC/CTV tv series 'Motive', in addition to a series of independent and short films. In 2014, Yasmeene received three actor nominations for Joey Awards (Canadian Young Actor Awards) and was honoured with a win for Best Actress in a Music Video category. When Yasmeene isn't acting she enjoys playing in the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League representing CMFSC, field hockey, horseback riding, swimming and bike riding. She also enjoys making iMovies, singing, and is an avid reader. Yasmeene believes strongly in giving back to the community and offers ongoing support to BC Children's Hospital and Animal Rescues and Charities. In the future, Yasmeene hopes to work with Emma Watson, Natalie Portman, Stanley Tucci, AnnaSophia Robb, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep and Leonardo DiCaprio, with whom she wholeheartedly admires and shares a commitment to the craft of acting.
